How to pair with Mercator Ikuü
To connect your Mercator Ikuü products to the app you need to ‘pair’ them. Pairing is easy and usually only needs to be done once. If you have a power failure, or lose internet, you don’t need to re-pair your products. The only time you need to re-pair your products is if you change network names or passwords – this can happen if you change internet service providers or upgrade to NBN, click here for more information on this.
To connect your Mercator Ikuü product to the app, you must first enter pairing mode for that product – you then use the app to find the product. Different products go into pairing mode in different ways. If you have lost the pairing instructions from the box you can get them from the downloads section or use one of the below guides:
All Mercator Ikuü Wi-Fi products must connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. For Wi-Fi troubleshooting click here.
Ceiling, batten and down lights
Security cameras and video doorbells
Universal IR remote
All Mercator Ikuü Zigbee products also require a Mercator Ikuü Zigbee hub, which will need to be paired to your account first. For Zigbee troubleshooting click here. Some of our Zigbee products feature mesh technology which is ideal if you have multiple products.
